A Message from our Chairman

“At Wee Hur, sustainability is placed at the core of our business strategy, reflecting our commitment to responsible growth, environmental stewardship, and creating a positive social impact.”
At Wee Hur, we are committed to incorporating and improving sustainability practices throughout our organisation. We aim to be stewards of the future by adopting environmentally friendly practices, leveraging on technology in our construction methods and cultivating a strong culture of health and safety in our workplace.
Our dedication to environmental sustainability is reflected in our accolades for 2017. We have been awarded the BCA Green Mark Award (Gold) for Mega @ Woodlands and BCA Green and Gracious Builder Award (2017) for our efforts on environmental protection in all phases of our projects.
We are also among the first few players in Singapore to undertake a Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) project, which will give us a competitive edge as the industry shifts towards using PPVC.
We align our sustainability efforts with the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards and contribute to the UN SDGs through our daily operations, strategic development, and stakeholder collaboration.
We track and report our progress across key areas such as:
- Green-certified buildings in our portfolio
- Worker safety and welfare indicators
- Resource consumption and efficiency metrics
- Community and stakeholder engagement outcomes
